Like most people around the world, I got nothing done last month. I’ve transitioned to full-time homeschooling, and I don’t have the time or energy for anything else. This will be brief!

Plans for May:
I have no idea what I’m going to do this month. I’ll still be homeschooling kiddo with the pandemic restrictions in place, though I’m pretty sure I’m going to go insane if I don’t start working on something to expend some creative energy soon. I have so many ideas I need to puzzle out on paper, but I don’t have the time or energy to actually sit down and do that. I’m only writing this now because it’s the weekend, and kiddo is watching a movie. That’s not a sustainable method for the school week, unfortunately. I’m going to try to implement some “break” time during the day where I can have an hour or two to focus on my own work without interruptions. Or, like I said, I’m likely to go insane.
I’d like to make progress on STARCALLER. A lot of work is happening in my head right now, brainstorming things in the shower or while folding laundry (there is so much laundry). I’ve settled on some ideas I want to pursue. I just need time to really explore them.
I’d also like to work on DARK LORD IN TRAINING, but again, time is a big issue here. Maybe I’ll be able to work out some sort of schedule shift this month and figure out some way to be productive during all this. The summer isn’t likely to be any better, as kiddo probably won’t be attending any summer programs, but we’ll see.
